Anglia Young Stars is a set of tests which has been specifically designed to assess the ability of children between the ages of 4 and 12 to communicate orally in English. The test series comprises three levels:

Motivation and a sense of achievement are the two main pillars on which the Anglia Young Stars levels are built, as we believe that starting to communicate in another language from an early age is key to getting younger students into the habit of speaking spontaneously and naturally in English, without even noticing that they are taking an exam.

A successful test result will build confidence and encourage students to continue taking subsequent levels and consider taking a four-skills test when they feel ready.

It is not compulsory to take the three levels of Anglia Young Stars before starting to use our General English exams; they can be taken at any time and it will be at the teacher’s discretion as to whether a candidate needs to alternate them with the General English exam levels.
